Program Overview

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program is a mindful exploration of the traditional and progressive yoga practice, philosophy and ethics. Our experiential philosophy encourages you to explore what yoga means in your own body and mind and to become a teacher of yoga, not just a teacher of postures. We sincerely want you to become a skilled and empowered authentic yoga teacher.

Our course celebrates the four paths of yoga:

Rāja - Royal

Rāja yoga is based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. It consists of eight methods or limbs of transformation.

This is where yoga postures (asana) fit in, and in our program, you will learn a variety of asana as well as useful cuing and assistance techniques for your students.

You will also learn yama and niyama (ethical observances), pranayama (breathwork), meditation and the other limbs throughout the course.

Jñāna - Knowledge

Jñāna yoga is the intellectual approach to transformation. Our course gives you a solid foundational knowledge of traditional yoga.

You will learn the history of yoga, authentic yogic teachings such as Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, anatomy, biotensegrity, philosophy, Vedic stories, and an introduction to Sanskrit.

Bhakti - Devotion

Bhakti yoga is an emotional approach to transformation. This practice develops humility, compassion and unconditional love and reveals the Infinite within

You are introduced to mantra and kirtan (devotional singing) as part of this path. Vedic stories about journeys of central mythological figures are included here too.

Karma - Action

Karma yoga is the path of selfless service. By working for the sake of others with no expectation of reward, we work toward the ultimate transformation - unity of the self and the divine.

You will have the opportunity to teach volunteer classes and to work in underserved communities that might otherwise not have access to these transformative arts.

Our training is so much more than just a certification. It is yogic life training. It is a step into the transformation of perception and an awakening of the Self. You will join our community and our common journey of deepening development. With these foundations, you will be prepared to serve and empower others along their yoga journeys.
